Care
Kokoskaa wraps come to you in loom state. We highly recommend washing before first use. When washing your woven wraps:
-
Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Both can damage the fabric.
-
Avoid detergents containing optical brighteners, which can also damage the fabric.
-
Remember that it is normal for a wrap to shrink in length after its first wash. We allow for this shrinkage by cutting our wraps extra long.
-
Always follow the care instructions on your wrap’s label. If you have concerns or doubts, please contact us.
-
For cotton & linen wraps: Wash in cold water, with a low spin. We recommend using your washer’s gentle or delicate cycle. Tumble dry low, or line dry away from direct sunlight and then use the dryer to air fluff.
-
For woolen wraps: Hand wash only and lay flat to dry. We recommend using a special detergent for wool and delicate fibers. (Eucalan is a good one.)
-
We highly recommend steam ironing your cotton and linen wraps. This helps soften the wrap and prevents creasing, especially along the rails.
-
We do not recommend ironing wool and wool blends.
Always inspect your wrap before each use. Do not use if you see any signs of damage or wear.
